Triund trek allows us to explore the beauty and calmness of Himalayans, this trek might be short but it will; surely give you a little taste of adventure as the trail is a little steep at some points. Triund trek is one of the shortest and easiest Himalayan treks with spectacular scenery and a picturesque view of snow-covered Dhauladhar ranges and Kangra valley. This two days short trek can easily be done on a weekend. Most of us barely get enough time to travel, explore new places and go on an adventurous trip.
As the Triund and Snowline Trek begins from Dharamkot, it takes you through a lush forest. Refreshing scents of various trees On reaching Triund Hill, you will witness one of the best sunsets ever you will see magnificent Dhauladhar mountains across the Triund valley and the beautiful town of Mcleodganj. enjoy the picturesque views of Kangra valley on one side and the Dhauladhar mountain range on the other. Dinner and overnight stay at the campsite.
Beginning early in the morning. Post a cup of coffee and hearty breakfast start trekking downhill and reach Dharamkot. Reach back to the start point(at around 12:30 PM), The trek ends here with some beautiful memories to cherish for lifetime.
The maximum altitude for this trek is 9350 Ft., offering breathtaking views and a challenging experience.
This trek is rated as "Easy to Moderate " due to the high altitude, rugged terrain, and demanding hiking days.
The trek spans 2 Days/ 1 Night, including travel to and from Mcledganj.
Participants should be at least 08 Years to join this trek due to its demanding nature.
May — June (15C to 20C and night 7C to2C) Sept — Oct (15C to 10C and night 5C to -5C).
Pre Monsoon Season:— May first week to June end and post monsoon Season:- September 2nd week to Nov first week.
The trek starts and ends in Mcledganj.
Arrive at the Bhagsu Nag Taxi Stand before 10:00 AM
Reach back to the start point(at around 12:30 PM)
People with conditions such as Bronchitis, Asthma, TB, Epilepsy, high blood pressure, or a higher BMI are not allowed on this trek.
Children under 8 years old are not permitted to join the trek.
