Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before booking with MountainTraveller.in. By booking with us, either directly or through a third party, you agree to follow these Terms and Conditions.
1. Privacy Policy
Your personal information is protected under our Privacy Policy. You can read the full policy on our website.
2. Trip Cancellations by MountainTraveller
We may cancel a trip up to 20 days before the departure date. In rare cases, such as natural disasters or government travel warnings, we may cancel at any time. If this happens, we will offer you an alternative or a full refund if you prefer not to accept the alternative. We are not responsible for any extra costs you may have due to cancellations.
3. Itinerary Changes
Sometimes, travel plans may change due to factors beyond our control, like bad weather or road conditions. You understand that flexibility is important when traveling with us. If there are any changes, we will let you know and try to offer a solution. We are not responsible for delays, loss of enjoyment, or extra costs from such changes.
4. Physical Fitness
Before going on a trek with us, we recommend following our fitness guide. If you have a serious medical condition or a history of heart, lung, or blood pressure problems, high-altitude treks may not be suitable for you.
For travelers over 60, a fitness certificate from a doctor is required. If you do not pass the medical exam, we will refund your deposit as long as you provide the medical report within two weeks of booking. Please make sure to share any medical conditions with us; failure to do so may result in your removal from the trip, without a refund.
5. Travel Insurance
Travel insurance is not included in our trip price. We highly recommend that you purchase personal travel insurance to cover accidents, illnesses, or emergencies. Insurance should also cover cancellations, loss of luggage, or any unexpected delays. Please bring proof of insurance, as it may be required during the trip.
6. Risks
We aim to make your trip safe and enjoyable, but there are always risks in adventure travel. Political unrest, weather changes, or other issues may require us to make adjustments to your trip. We are not responsible for any extra costs that may arise from these changes.
If you get sick or injured during the trip, we may help arrange medical care or evacuation at your cost. By booking with us, you acknowledge the risks involved and agree that MountainTraveller is not responsible for injuries, losses, or damages, to the extent allowed by law.
7. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any legal disputes will be handled in the courts of Uttarakhand, India.
