1. Privacy Policy

2. Trip Cancellations by MountainTraveller

  • We may cancel a trip up to 20 days before the departure date.

  • In rare cases (e.g., natural disasters, government travel warnings), we may cancel at any time.

  • If we cancel, we will offer you an alternative trip or a full refund if you prefer not to accept the alternative.

  • We are not responsible for any extra costs (e.g., flights, accommodation) you may incur due to cancellations.


3. Itinerary Changes

  • Travel plans may change due to factors beyond our control (e.g., bad weather, road conditions, political unrest).

  • We will notify you of any changes and try to offer a suitable solution.

  • We are not responsible for delaysloss of enjoyment, or extra costs resulting from such changes.


4. Physical Fitness

  • Before joining a trek, we recommend following our fitness guide.

  • If you have a serious medical condition (e.g., heart, lung, or blood pressure problems), high-altitude treks may not be suitable for you.

  • Travelers over 60 years must provide a fitness certificate from a doctor.

  • If you fail the medical exam, we will refund your deposit upon receiving the medical report within two weeks of booking.

  • Please disclose any medical conditions at the time of booking. Failure to do so may result in your removal from the trip without a refund.


5. Travel Insurance

  • Travel insurance is not included in our trip price.

  • We highly recommend purchasing personal travel insurance to cover:

    • Accidents, illnesses, or emergencies.

    • Trip cancellations, loss of luggage, or unexpected delays.

  • Please bring proof of insurance, as it may be required during the trip.


6. Risks

  • Adventure travel involves risks (e.g., political unrest, weather changes).

  • We may need to adjust your trip due to unforeseen circumstances. We are not responsible for any extra costs arising from these changes.

  • If you get sick or injured during the trip, we may help arrange medical care or evacuation at your cost.

  • By booking with us, you acknowledge the risks involved and agree that MountainTraveller.in is not responsible for injuries, losses, or damages, to the extent allowed by law.


7. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of India. Any legal disputes will be handled in the courts of Uttarakhand, India.


8. Intellectual Property

  • We respect the intellectual property of others. If you believe your copyright has been violated on our site, contact us at info@mountaintraveller.com with details. We will review and take appropriate action.

  • We do not claim ownership of user-contributed photos and are not responsible for any copyright issues arising from these images.
