Overview

The Yuksom Dzongri trek will transport you deep into the stunning Sikkim countryside. To navigate the rocky, difficult, and intriguing routes is the challenge at hand. This covers some of the well-known and breathtaking waterfalls in the area, as well as sunset locations like Tiger Hill in Darjeeling that will end a magnificent trek. You’ll get some magnificent views of the mountains and distant valleys during the journey. This trek is considered as a moderate trek.  The temperature here might go beyond the freezing point at any time of the year. This fascinating trek takes you through the dense, pristine Sikkim Himalayan forest and up to Dzongri Top, which is at an altitude of around 15,000 feet, from where you can take in the magnificence of Kanchenjunga National Park. It will take you eleven days to do this expedition. Come across  the renowned and stunning Khecheopalri Lake. According to local legend, the birds prevent any leaves from falling onto the lake. This Trek   begins in Yuksom and follows a similar route as Chaurikhang, the HMI Basecamp, and the Goechala Trek. Listen to the chirping of the birds and spend some time staring at the small lakes while you head out on this trek. Set off on this great adventure and you’ll also get the chance to see the lovely northeast. An augmentation of the Dzongri Trek, the Yuksom-Dzongri Trek brings the crude trekking adventure at its best beyond and past the glades where the trekkers can come close to nature.
