Overview

Rudranath Trek location in 3600m,In the Himalayan area of Uttarakhand, Rudra Nath is the third and least accessible but most revered pilgrimage place of the renowned “Panch Kedar.” Within a thick forest of rhododendron dwarfs and Alpine meadows lies this natural rock temple. The third of five Shiva temples that make up the Panch Kedar pilgrimage circuit are located in the Garhwal region. The face of the god Shiva is referred to as “Neelakantha Mahadeva” here. About 3 km from Gopeshwar, at Sagar Village, is where the trek begins. Comparatively speaking to the other Panch Kedar temples, Rudranath temple is the most difficult to get to. The Himalayan peaks Nanda Devi, Trishul, and Nanda Ghunti enhance Rudranath’s beauty.

Itinerary

Day 1 : Rishikesh to Gopeshwar (km:215)

You are picked up by our employees in a cab or bus along with other trekkers from the Rishikesh train station or other specified locations. Gopeshwar is the headquarters for Chamoli district, so it would be easy to get a bus. You will travel around 215 miles and arrive at the Gopeshwar by the evening while enjoying the magnificent scenery of the valleys and the river the entire day. Explore the place and overnight stay in Gopeshwar.

Day 2 : Trek from Gopeshwar to Sagar village & Panaar (Trek-12km)

The trek begins the following morning after breakfast on the second day of the Rudranath trek package. Make sure you are prepared for a long day trek before we set off on our journey. From Gopeshwar, we will drive till to Sagar Village, which is located 5 kilometres away. We will get at Pung Bugyal in two hours by strolling through this old-fashioned hamlet. We will today ascend a massive mountain that was directly in front of us.The trail ahead offers plenty of adventure and a challenging ascent, as well as wet woodlands and water sources scattered about. Today we will walk approximately 10 kms. When you get in Panaar Bugyal, a sprawling expanse of lush green grassland with peaks visible from all directions, you will be enchanted by the place's ethereal beauty. Nice, fresh air will make you feel absolutely satisfied. We'll set camp here and take in the beauty of nature. Overnight stay in Camp.

Day 3 : Trek from Panaar Bugyal to Rudranath (Trek -8 km)

. After spending the night in Panaar and enjoying a happy morning with breathtaking views, we will travel the eight kilometres to the temple. You see the chaukhamba peak, preched at an elevation of 7,138 meters above sea leval. We can keep our bags and things at our campsite and Panaar and walk easily. Compared to yesterday, the walk would be simpler today. If we walk steadily, it will take us two hours to get there tempal. Take pictures and be ready to hike downhill up to Sagar village. We will have our lunch at Panaar. Overnight stay in Panaar.

Day 4 : Panar to Gopeshwar

Leave for Sagar village. By the evening we will reach back to Gopeshwar and stay there itself. Explore the place visit the Gopinath Temple which is also the winter abode of Rudranath Mahadev.

Day 5 : Gopeshwar to Rishikesh

After having breakfast, and leave to Rishikesh. goodbay to the journey, with your beautiful memories.

    Food would not be provided during transit and trekkers have to bear the cost at their own.

    Generally we expect trekkers to carry their bag-pack and luggage themselves. For those who wish to use Mule/Porter need to pay Rs 350 per day for same.
