1. General Policies

• Scope: These Policies apply to all services offered by MountainTraveller.in, including trips, treks, and Char Dham Yatra.

• Policy Updates: We may update or cancel policies without prior notice.

2. Service Change Policy

• Changing Batches: Changing to a different batch (for treks, trips, or Char Dham Yatra) depends on seat availability.

• Transferring to a Friend: If you transfer your booking to a friend, they must meet all the required conditions set by MountainTraveller.in.

• Unforeseen Events: If an unforeseen event occurs, we may switch your booking to a different service with your approval.

  • If the new service is more expensive, you must pay the difference.

  • If the new service costs less, the difference will be refunded through cashback, discounts, or vouchers.

3. Date Change Policy

• Changing Dates: Changing your booking date is subject to seat availability.

• Transferring to a Friend: If transferring your booking to a friend, they must meet our requirements.

4. Refund Policy

• No Refund: If you agree to change the date or service but fail to show up, no refund will be issued.

• Future Bookings: Refunds can be applied to a future booking in urgent or special cases.

5. Cancellation Policy

• Cancellation 30+ Days Before Departure: Full refund.

• Cancellation 30-20 Days Before Departure: 50% refund.

• Cancellation 20-10 Days Before Departure: 25% refund.

• Cancellation <10 Days Before Departure: No refund.

• Refund Processing: If a refund is approved, it will be processed within 6 days.

6. Itinerary Changes

• Planned Itineraries: Itineraries are planned in advance but can change due to conditions on the ground (e.g., bad weather, road conditions, political unrest).

• Adjustments: MountainTraveller.in reserves the right to adjust dates, itineraries, or participants if necessary.

• Additional Costs: If a trip is delayed or changed due to factors beyond our control, the participant will bear the additional costs (e.g., accommodation, transportation).

7. Participant Acceptance

• Right to Accept/Decline: We reserve the right to accept or decline any participant for our trips, treks, or Char Dham Yatra.

8. Legal Compliance

These Policies are governed by the laws of India. Any legal disputes will be handled in the courts of Uttarakhand, India.
