The Panch Kedar Yatra is a spiritual journey to the five sacred temples of Lord Shiva located in the enchanting Garhwal Himalayas of Uttarakhand. These temples—Kedarnath, Tungnath, Rudranath, Madhyamaheshwar, and Kalpeshwar—are believed to be associated with the Pandavas’ quest for redemption in the Mahabharata.
The journey begins with the Kedarnath Temple, one of the 12 Jyotirlingas, nestled at an altitude of 3,583 meters. Next, pilgrims visit Tungnath, the world’s highest Shiva temple, followed by Rudranath, known for its natural rock face shrine. Madhyamaheshwar, located in a lush valley, offers a tranquil ambiance, and the final stop is Kalpeshwar, where Lord Shiva is worshipped in his matted-hair form.

After darshan, proceed by vehicle to Sagar Village (50 km drive).
