Overview

India’s second-highest mountain is Nanda Devi (7816 M).It is a massif with the Nanda Devi East (7434 metres) and Nanda Devi West peaks as its two highest points (7,816 mtrs.). Nanda Devi East Base Camp Trek is the perfect way to witness the beauty of the sister peaks – standing in the centre of a ring of peaks – majestic and aloof. One of the deepest gorges in the world, the Rishi Ganga, is used to access the trek. The Panchachuli peaks may be seen well from Munsiyari, where the trek begins. It then travels through the Ramganga and Saryu valleys. The Johari Tribe, known for its ayurvedic medicines and woollen shawls, calls Munsyari, a small but charming hamlet with a picturesque array of waterfalls, home. The starting point for trekkers to the Nanda Devi Peak, Milam, Namik, and Ralam glaciers is Munsiyari. The area is close to Nanda Devi National Park, one of the Himalayas’ most breathtaking wilderness areas. Numerous types of flora and fauna call it home. On this excursion, you may even see the elusive Snow Leopard or the Himalayan Musk Deer. You will embark on an adventurous trip from Pachu Glacier to Martoli, Rargari, and Munsiyari, stopping at each destination, after spending a day exploring the base camp. Trek via Bogudiar, Railkot, and Ghangharia while staying in tents every night to experience the trans-Himalayan trekking adventure.
