During this part of the Kheerganga trek from Kasol, your eyes also feast on many picturesque waterfalls, remember to take pictures of every single one of these. Kheerganga trek is the most recommended one among all the treks in Parvati valley and takes you through some amazing scenery. It needs neither too much time nor any prior trekking experience which makes it perfect for any beginner trekker or a backpacker. While strolling through the magnificent landscape of Himachal Pradesh, you will be treated to majestic sights of nature. On the trail, pass a few wooden bridges and some slippery sections.
Start trek from Barshaini to Kheerganga Trek. Barshaini is a small village near Kasol and the point of confluence of the Parvati and Tosh Rivers. After reaching the green meadow of Kheerganga, take a refreshing dip in the hot mythical Parvati Kund to wash off the fatigue of the journey. Later, enjoy a bonfire near your camp to gather energy for the next day, Overnight stay in Camps
After breakfast, you will start your trek back to Barshaini, in the Parvati Valley. This time, do make sure to explore this charming little town. Reach Barshaini, The trip comes to an end here. After that, you are free to go sightseeing, shop for trinkets, and tour surrounding locations like Tosh village. The Tosh river can be explored, or you can head straight towards Kasol!
The maximum altitude for this trek is 9,600 Feet, offering breathtaking views and a challenging experience.
This trek is rated as "Easy" due to the high altitude, rugged terrain, and demanding hiking days.
The trek spans 2Days/ 1 Night, including travel to and from Barshani.
Participants should be at least 08 Years to join this trek due to its demanding nature.
