Kareri lake n kangar district of Himachal Pradesh located, at an altitude of 2950m .This track will give you a lot of fun and beautiful scenery. Situated in the majestic Dhauladhar range, this glacial Kareri lake trek will take you through a journey of the most scenic views as it is home to lush pasturelands, exotic perennial flowers, and dense conifers. On the way to kareri lake trek you will find OAK forests and grassland of will be found ,and many types of small rivers and lakes will be found around which different types of vegetation will grow. Here the representative will welcome you and You will have to start your journey from MCLEODGANJ to kareri village( Morning 10;30am around.) After reaching kareri lake. the track leader will give you information about this lake. Will provide you lunch on the way. the track around the lake will de compsite long . After arriving at Dharamkot and meeting the rest of the group, proceed to trek towards the Kareri Village. meet the locas people of the kareri village who belong to Gaddi Tribe. Spend the night in a tent or a homestay in Kareri Village.
The morning after having a breakfast . At kareri village you will go to Revati base camp, and from here you will start the trek to the lake. Trek to the lake from Reoti depends on weather conditions as on a rainy day the path becomes too slippery and dangerous for trekking. The Kareri Nullah Stream and pass through various bridges. Immerse yourself in the beauty of nature while looking at the elliptical glacial lake surrounded by sud –tropica forests and alpine meadows. After same time start our journey to Revati base camp. Overnight at the Reoti Base Camp.
After breakfast at the Base Camp, start your descent towards Mcleodganj. Reach Mcleodganj to mark the end of the tour with loads of memories for a lifetime.
This trek is rated as " Easy" due to the high altitude, rugged terrain, and demanding hiking days.
Participants should be at least 8 Year to join this trek due to its demanding nature.
May — June (15C to 20C and night 7C to2C) Sept — Oct (15C to 10C and night 5C to -5C).
Pre Monsoon Season:— May first week to June end and post monsoon Season:- September 2nd week to Nov first week.
The trek starts and ends in Dharamkot .

People with conditions such as Bronchitis, Asthma, TB, Epilepsy, high blood pressure, or a higher BMI are not allowed on this trek.
Children under 8 years old are not permitted to join the trek.
