Embark on a pleasure weekend trip to Kanatal, the picturesque beauty peacefully lying in the Garhwal Himalayas. A three day trip is to let you delve into the maximized beauty of a hill station that acts as a perfect weekend getaway. Rather, it is a less explored portion encircled by the towering peaks and tall coniferous trees and the enchanting town of Kanatal. The small hamlet is located at an elevation of 12 kilometers away from Chamba and 68 kilometers away from Dehradun.  The tour starting from Delhi gives you countless adventure activities like rock climbing, rappelling, camping, water sports at Tehri Dam, jungle walk and a trek to Sukhmadevi temple. The two packages available are Delhi to Delhi with transport and the other one is without transport

Itinerary

Day 1 - Depart from Delhi

Depart from R.K Ashram Marg Metro Station/Jahangir Metro Station/Majnu ka Tila at 8:00 PM after meeting your team mates and guides. The next morning around 07:00 am, you will your destination that is Kanatal.

Day 2 - Adventure activities

By 10:00 am, you will reach the campsite and check in. You will have the rooms on triple sharing basis. Have breakfast and indulge in some exciting activities like rock climbing, rappelling etc. Post lunch, you will be taken to Tehri Dam, where you will get to partake in some water sports. In the evening, return to the campsite through the jungle walk. If you wish, you can go for a trekking trip to Surkanda Devi temple. Later, at the campsite, dinner will be served and after that gather near the campfire and relax by sharing your experience with the team.

Day 3 - Return trip

Post breakfast, start your journey in the AC Coach or tempo traveller to reach Delhi at night around 08:00 pm.

Inclusions

  • Transport to and from the base camp
    The above trek cost includes transport to and from base camp.
  • Safety equipment
    First aid, medical kit, oxygen cylinders, stretchers, Walkie-Talkie etc. will be available at campsite.
  • Accommodation
    Stay is included from Day 1 to Last Day. Tents/Homestays/lodges will be provided. Tripple sharing Accomodation and seprate accomodation for girls/ladies will be povided
  • Meals
    All meals from dinner on Day 1 to breakfast at Last day are included. Veg food will be provided during the trek.
  • Permits/ Forest fees
    UTT will arrange trekking permits and forest passes.
  • Experienced Trek Leader & Team
    Qualified trek leaders haing in basic / advanced mountaineering courses certificates/ degrees will assiston trek.Other staff member includes qualified cooks, helpers and porters.
  • Food during transit to and from the base camp
    Food would not be provided during transit and trekkers have to bear the cost at their own.
  • Mule and Porter charges
    Generally we expect trekkers to carry their bag-pack and luggage themselves. For those who wish to use Mule/Porter need to pay Rs 350 per day for same.
  • Personal Expense
    Personal Expense of any kind. The trek cost does not include stay at any location on last day
