Chopta  Tungnath trek is short and easy in the Chopta Tungnath trek which runs parallel to the sky-scraping Himalayan Treks. Tunganath is the highest temple of Uttarakhand. During this hiking, one can enjoy clear view of majestic peaks of Panchchuli, Nanda Devi, Nilkanth and Kedarnath. Chopta gives a picturesque view of the Himalayas. In the early spring the Rhododendron forest glow red as the flowers bloom.

Itinerary

Day 1: Haridwar-Chopta via Devprayag

We will start from Haridwar in morning, Pick Up Point is Haridwar Railway Station, Pick Up Time is 6:00 am, Distance- 210 km Driving Time- 7 hour The day is kept at your leisure, with options of spending the day resting, clicking photographs, going for short walks around the meadows or interacting with the locals and fellow travelers Overnight stay in camps surrounded by mountain peaks and serenity beauty

Day 2: Chopta to Tungnath,Chandrashilla Top and back to Chopta

Distance- 8 km Trekking Time- 7-8 hour Altitude- 13,100 ft Early morning, wake up to the mesmerizing beauty and fill yourself with breakfast Start your trek to Tungnath,Chandrashilla Top (3680 mts.) At 3680 mts we will be at Tungnath, one of the Panch Kedars, Tungnath is the highest Shiva Temple in the world Just trek for a few more km's and we shall reach the highest destination of our trek, Chandrashila Peak. 360-degree view of the Mountains of Garhwal and Kumaon- Nanda Devi, Trishul, Nandaghunti, Kamet, Dronagiri, Chaukhamba, Kedar dome, Thalaysagar, Gangotri ranges, Jahanukut etc. Overnight stay in camp

Day 3: Chopta to Haridwar (Drive 7 hours)

Early morning post breakfast you will drive back to Haridwar which is an 8 to 9-hour ride(235km.) End of the trip with happy memories.
