Overview

Chopta Chandrashila Deoria trek is a easy to moderate level trek. Chopta to Tungnath would also be an exciting trekking trip since the short trek has tricky trails to make you happy as well as anxious. The holy Tungnath temple is situated at 3400 meters above sea level. It is the right space to experience peace of mind and even do meditation to rejuvenate yourself by absorbing the pure radiance from the sun coming in between the swaying trees. Chandrashila Summit trek will also be happening on the same day that is almost near to Tungnath but at a height of about 3600 meters. Kedar, Chaukhamba and some of the other major peaks come closer to you while you are on the top portion of Chandrashila. Golden-breasted eagles are a normal sight from the summit.

This trek is comparatively easy making it suitable for beginners and also for children. Yet, advanced trekkers would also find it quite interesting passing by the thick green forests and watching the snow-clad peaks at the distance. Normal fitness is only necessity to do this trek and those who love nature deeply would get a feast to their eyes with this closer to nature trek and the sights will be varying depending on the season you choose. Chopta Chandrashila Deoria trek is one of the best trek in uttarakhand.
