The Char Dham Yatra from Haridwar is a holy pilgrimage to four sacred shrines in Uttarakhand: Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath, and Badrinath. Starting from Haridwar, one of India’s most spiritual cities, this journey is a mix of devotion, natural beauty, and cultural heritage.
The yatra begins with Yamunotri, the source of the Yamuna River, where pilgrims seek blessings at the temple and take a dip in the hot springs. Next is Gangotri, the origin of the holy Ganga River, surrounded by serene Himalayan beauty. The journey continues to Kedarnath, a temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, nestled among snow-capped peaks. Finally, the pilgrimage concludes at Badrinath, a temple devoted to Lord Vishnu, located in a picturesque valley.
