Itinerary

Day 1: Haridwar to Barkot (210 km, 7-8 hours)

Start early from Haridwar railway station and drive to Barkot via Mussoorie. Stop at Kempty Falls for a refreshing break. Reach Barkot by evening and check into your hotel.

Day 2: Barkot to Yamunotri and Back

Drive to Janki Chatti, then trek 6 km (or hire a pony/palanquin) to Yamunotri. Visit Yamunotri Temple and take a dip in its hot springs. Return to Barkot for an overnight stay.

Day 3: Barkot to Uttarkashi (100 km, 4-5 hours)

Drive to Uttarkashi, known for its temples and natural beauty. Visit Kashi Vishwanath Temple and explore the town.

Day 4: Uttarkashi to Gangotri and Back

Drive to Gangotri, the origin of the Ganga River. Visit Gangotri Temple and enjoy the serene Himalayan views. Return to Uttarkashi for the night.

Day 5: Uttarkashi to Guptkashi (220 km, 8-9 hours)

Travel through scenic valleys to reach Guptkashi. Visit the Ardh Narishwar Temple and relax for the night.

Day 6: Guptkashi to Kedarnath (30 km drive + 16 km trek)

Drive to Gaurikund and start the 16 km trek to Kedarnath (or take a helicopter). Visit the Kedarnath Temple and soak in the spiritual atmosphere.

Day 7: Kedarnath to Guptkashi

Trek or fly back to Gaurikund and drive to Guptkashi for an overnight stay.

Day 8: Guptkashi to Badrinath (190 km, 7-8 hours)

Drive to Badrinath, visiting Joshimath and Vishnuprayag en route. Visit Badrinath Temple for evening darshan.

Day 9: Badrinath to Rudraprayag (160 km, 6-7 hours)

Attend morning prayers at Badrinath and visit nearby attractions like Mana Village. Drive to Rudraprayag for an overnight stay.

Day 10: Rudraprayag to Haridwar (165 km, 6-7 hours)

Drive back to Haridwar, stopping at Rishikesh for sightseeing at Laxman Jhula and Ram Jhula. Reach Haridwar by evening to conclude your yatra.
