Itinerary

Day 1 : Arrival at Delhi and Transfer to Manali | Gateway to The Land of High Passes

As you arrive at the reporting location in Delhi, be ready to begin your exciting trip. From the reporting location, board the Volvo. You drive through some of the most beautiful scenery during the overnight trip to the breathtaking Himalayas in order to arrive in Manali the following morning. This will be around a 12-hour journey.

Day 2 : Arrival at Manali | Land of Scenic Beauty

When you get to Manali, you may go right to the hotel you have pre-booked. Have breakfast in the hotel, while witnessing the beauty of the valley. You have the remainder of the day at leisure to spend whatever you choose and at your own expense exploring Manali.

Day 3 : Manali To Jispa | Drive Through Atal Tunnel to Enter A Different World

Wake up to a beautiful morning in the mountains. Eat a wonderful meal before beginning your journey to Jispa. On the way to Jispa, you will travel through the famous Atal Tunnel, one of the longest underground highways in the world. Get ready for Sissu and Keylong, the relaxed region where nature is still preserved in its purest form. Here you can explore the beautiful Sissu Lake and Sissu Waterfall. After exploring the lovely, verdant Bhaga Valley, proceed to Jispa. Reach Jispa, which is truly rich in fascinating trails and lush green jungles. Arrive at the Jispa camp and take evening tea with refreshments. Overnight stay at camps in Jispa.

Day 4 : Jispa To Sarchu Via Baralacha-la | A Night Under Starlit Sky

Wake up early and eat a nutritious breakfast before beginning your trip to Sarchu. En way, see Deepak Tal which works as a mirror, reflecting the tranquil surrounds of the snow-capped peaks. The Zingzing Bar, one of the tallest roadside bars in the world, is a convenient place to stop for a moment. Visit the Suraj Tal, also known as ‘the lake of the sun god’ which appears to be a lush emerald located amid the barren Himalayas and is shrouded in both mystery and splendour. Your next destination is the gorgeous Baralacha La Pass, which is located at a height of 16000 feet and provides you with some breathtaking views of the convergence of the three valleys. Reach Sarchu in the afternoon and rest for some time. Enjoy the stunning sunset and the lovely brown mountains later in the evening straight from your campground. Dinner and overnight stay at the camps in Sarchu.

Day 5 Sarchu to Leh | Drive Through Gata Loops, 21 Hairpin

After having your breakfast in the morning, start your journey towards Leh. Enroute, enjoy the drive through Gata Loops which is a series of 21 hairpin bends that leads to the top of one of the highest motorable passes in the Ladakh region, Nakee La Pass. Lachung La Pass, another high mountain pass in the area, would be your next resting place. Take a photo stop on the More Plains where a large stretch of green land is bordered by the mighty Himalayas on all sides. Upon reaching Leh around evening, complete the check-in requirements and relax for some time. Overnight stay at the hotel in Leh.

Day 6 : Leh Local Sightseeing | Soak in the Enlightening Ladakhi Culture

Enjoy full breakfast in the hotel after waking up to a stunning dawn as you gradually acclimate to the environment. Visit the exquisitely designed Shanti Stupa in the evening to begin your tour as a way of honouring the 2500 years of Buddhism. Visit the Leh Palace, which was constructed in the 17th century and will provide you an insight into Leh's former heyday. Later, go shopping for Tibetan handicrafts at the nearby Leh Market or try some delectable Ladakhi food at one of the many nearby cafes. Visit the hotel once more for a wonderful meal. Overnight stay at the hotel in Leh.

Day 7 : Leh to Nubra Valley via Khardung-La Pass | A Drive to the World’s Highest Motorable Road (18000 ft.)

After having a healthy breakfast in the morning, get ready for the ultimate adventure. You will travel over some of the highest passes in the world on your adventure, and you will be greeted by ever-changing vistas of the barren landscape. Take a stopover at the cafe on Khardung-La Pass, the world's highest all-season motorable road and soak in the views as you will feel like on top of the world. As you descend from Khardung-la, experience a change in landscape from the barren cold desert to the white sand desert as you enter the Nubra Valley full of Nubra Sand Dunes. Visit the Diskit Monastery, the oldest and largest monastery in Ladakh, which also houses a sizable Buddha statue, If time permits. Enjoy the magnificent double-humped Bactrian camel ride, which is only available in this area because it was once a part of the renowned silk route. Later, spend time camping with a bonfire beneath a starry sky. Stay the night at the Nubra Valley campsite.

Day 8 : Nubra Valley to Pangong Lake | Recreate The Famous Bollywood Moments

Wake up in the morning in the beautiful Nubra Valley and have a scrumptious breakfast. Get ready for your excursion to Pangong Lake on the Indo-China border—this day has been long anticipated. One of the highest altitude saline water lakes, Pangong Tso will greet you with its changing colours from shades of blue to green to red. Spend the rest of the day exploring the surroundings of the Pangong Lake with the view of the Shyok river on one side and the mountains on another side. Overnight stay and dinner at a campsite near Pangong Lake.

Day 9 : Pangong Lake to Leh | Excursion to Rancho School

Wake up in the morning to the beautiful Pangong Lake view and have a delicious breakfast. Take a brief detour to the Chang-la Pass, one of the world's highest mountain passes, on the way back to Leh. You can also visit the Chang-la Cafe, located just on the Changla Pass. Visit the Changla Baba Temple on top, after which the pass got its name and is believed to be the guardian of the people visiting Chang La. Further, visit the Druk Padma School, famed for the movie ‘3 Idiots’ as the site where the last scene was shot. Overnight stay at a hotel in Leh.

Day 10: Departure | It's Time to say Goodbye to the Mountains

Complete the check-out procedures at the hotel after consuming your breakfast in the morning. Later, you will be transferred to the airport for your onwards journey. Say farewell to your travelling companions and this magnificent place as you take off from Leh.
