Itineary

Day 1 : Delhi to Jibhi | Overnight Journey

  • group will assemble at the pick-up point by 06:00 PM.
  • Once you reach Delhi, you will have to proceed towards your boarding point for the overnight bus from Delhi to Jibhi.
  • pick up point would be RK Ashram or Majnu Ka Tila

Day 2 : Arrival in Jibhi | Meet your Bikes and the Fellow Riders

  • Reach the pre-booked hotel in Jibhi and complete the check-in formalities
  • You will then meet your road captain who will be leading the entire trip and will brief you about the terrain and will draw out a day-wise final plan
  • Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel in Jibhi.

Day 3 : Jibhi to Chitkul (214 Kilometers, 10 Hours Drive) | The Last Inhabited Village at the Indo-Tibetan Border

  • Wake up early in the morning to experience one of the most beautiful sunrises.
  • After a delicious breakfast, you will leave for one of the most beautiful views of Kinnaur Valley.
  • Chitkul is the last inhabited village before the Indo-China border and here you can also visit the famous ‘Hindustan ka Akhri Dhaba’ for an amazing meal. Overnight stay and dinner at hotel/homestay in Chitkul.

Day 4 : Chitkul to Kalpa (60 Kilometers, 03 Hours Drive)

  • Wake up to a beautiful morning and have a delicious breakfast.
  • Check out from the hotel and ride back towards Karcham from where you will proceed deeper into the valley towards Powari, Spend the night in the beautiful Kalpa village overlooking the Kinnaur Kailash mountains.
  • Overnight stay at camp/homestay in Kalpa.

Day 5 : Kalpa to Dhankar (200 Kilometers, 07 Hours Drive)

  • After early morning breakfast, we will head towards our next destination, Dhankar.
  • En route to Dhankar, we will be traversing through Nako Village and paying our respects at the Tabo Monastery. After checking in, we will have dinner served followed by an overnight stay in Dhankar.

Day 6 : Dhankar to Kaza (40 Kilometers, 4 Hours Drive)

  • Wake up early and after having a hearty breakfast, you will leave for Kaza.
  • You will be passing through Kunzum Pass.
  • Stop by the 'Ajanta of the Himalayas' - Tabo Monastery, which is the oldest continuously operating Buddhist enclave in both India and the Himalayas. You will then proceed towards Kaza where you will be spending the night at a hotel.

Day 7 : Sightseeing in Kaza | Hikkim, Komic, Langza

  • After early morning breakfast, we will go sightseeing and visit Hikkim (the highest post office in the world).
  • You will then drive back down to Kaza for lunch. Then proceed towards the world-famous Ki Monastery nestled between the mountains in a bowl-shaped valley. You will then go farther up the valley to the picturesque village of Kibber to treasure the expanses of beautiful landscapes and immeasurable beauty of the snow-tipped mountains. Also drive to the Chicham Bridge, Asia's highest suspended bridge that hangs in the air dramatically atop a 1000 feet deep gorge.
  • Later in the evening, you will drive back to Kaza to spend the night at the hotel.

Day 8 : Kaza to Chandratal Lake via Kunzum La | (90 Kilometers, 7 Hours Drive)

  • After having early morning breakfast, commence your journey back home and trace the steps back on the Kaza – Manali road.
  • En-route, we will make brief stops at Kibber, Chicham Bridge (Asia’s Highest Bridge), and Kunzum Pass.
  • Overnight stay at the camps near Chandratal Lake.

Day 9 : Chandratal/Batal to Manali Rohtang (125 Kilometers, 7 Hours Drive)

  • After early morning breakfast we'll start our return journey to Manali.
  • We will reach Manali by late afternoon. Rest of the day is at leisure. In the evening, we will board the bus for our overnight drive to Delhi.

Day 10 : Arrival in Manali | A Paradise for Nature Lovers

  • Reach Manali early in the morning and meet a representative, complete the check-in formalities and have a hearty breakfast.
  • Post-check-in, the rest of the day is at leisure. Travelers are advised to indulge in cafe hopping, local sightseeing, and more.
  • Return back to the hotel in Manali for an overnight stay.

Day 11 : Delhi Arrival | Tour Ends.

  • Once you reach Delhi in the evening, your Spiti tour comes to an end

Trek Notes

People with below conditions are not allowed:
  • People suffering from Bronchitis, Asthma, TB, Epilepsy(got faints)
  • High blood pressure or higher BMI.
Chilren should meet below requirements
  • Below 8 years are not allowed

Inclusions


Transport to and from the base camp
The above trek cost includes transport to and from base camp.
Safety equipment
First aid, medical kit, oxygen cylinders, stretchers, Walkie-Talkie etc. will be available at campsite.
Accommodation
Stay is included from Day 1 to Last Day. Tents/Homestays/lodges will be provided. Tripple sharing Accommodation and separate accommodation for girls/ladies will be provided
Meals
All meals from dinner on Day 1 to breakfast at Last day are included. Veg food will be provided during the trek.
Permits/ Forest fees
UTT will arrange trekking permits and forest passes.
Experienced Trek Leader & Team
Qualified trek leaders haing in basic / advanced mountaineering courses certificates/ degrees will assist trek.
Other staff member includes qualified cooks, helpers and porters.

Exclusions


Food during transit to and from the base camp
Food would not be provided during transit and trekkers have to bear the cost at their own.
Mule and Porter charges
Generally we expect trekkers to carry their bag-pack and luggage themselves. For those who wish to use Mule/Porter need to pay Rs 350 per day for same.
Personal Expense
Personal Expense of any kind. The trek cost does not include stay at any location on last day
